Ari's Thai Eatery opens at Packing District! Is this the Best Anaheim Thai Food Restaurant?
Farmers Park just got another chef-driven restaurant, and we are here for it!
Ari's Thai Eatery, the family-rooted Thai restaurant from co-founders Calvin Vuong and Arissara “Ari” Sastaravaha, is opening its newest location at Farmers Park in the Anaheim Packing District, voted Orange County's Best Food Hall by Orange County Register readers in 2025 and 2026, with a soft opening on Saturday, Sept. 26. A grand opening celebration is tentatively planned for Sunday, Oct. 25.
To celebrate, guests get a free drink with any entrée purchase through Oct. 4, 2026 (one per person; excludes mojitos, coconut drinks and alcohol).
The Anaheim restaurant is the duo's third, following Basil & Co in Diamond Bar and the original Ari's Thai Eatery in Azusa. Its name comes from Ari, whose family has run restaurants in Thailand for more than 50 years and whose grandmother taught her to cook. Vuong, who spent four years in Thailand attending Le Cordon Bleu and cooking in Thai kitchens, brings the same passion for food and hospitality.
Alongside Thai favorites such as pad Thai, pumpkin curry and chicken satay, signature dishes include Kra Pow Duck Breast, Panang Brisket, Red Duck Curry and Crying Tiger, a pan-seared USDA Prime ribeye with papaya salad.
“I grew up in a Thai restaurant family, where the kitchen was always full of life and love,” said Sastaravaha. “Ari's Thai Eatery is my way of sharing the flavors I grew up with and creating a space where people can feel at home.”
Ari's Thai Eatery is located at 430 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92805, and will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
