For the fifth year, Anaheim’s historic Packing District will host “Mother Earth Market,” (MEM) a mindfulness event co-created by the Southern California anti-waste refill store, Eco Now. This year, organized by the Makers Hive Market, the full day of eco-conscious activities and vendors will take place on Saturday, September 20, from 12pm until 4pm along the shaded boardwalk and green at Farmers Park – 412 S. Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA.
Come early for a neighborhood clean up with greenbird at 11am - meet and end at the Park.
MEM’s multi-layered experience aims to inspire “greener” practices by providing access to sustainably-minded organizations and ecologically friendly product alternatives.
All-ages fun includes:
up-cycled crafting station from MAKE Lab
gardening demonstrations from social Ray from @UrrbanGarden
“Upcycle Your Clothes” by bringing worn or torn clothing to mend with hand-painted patches at Kornelija Art’s booth (free to the first 20 attendees).

This year’s MEM logo, illustrated by artist, Veronica Velasquez, symbolizes the importance of nurturing our planet now, illuminating the path for present and future inhabitants.
